Diving Course: Refresh Scuba Diver

Mundo Acuático recommends diving at least twice a year to avoid losing the skills acquired during the Open Water Scuba Diver course. If you haven’t been able to dive for over a year, a formal basic-level refresher training is required.

Requirements for the Refresh scuba diver diving course:

  • Open Water Scuba Diver certification.
  • Must be at least 12 years old. No maximum age limit.

Medical restrictions:

  • You should not practice diving if you have diabetes, heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, are pregnant, or suffer from any cardiopulmonary condition.

Students will be recommended hotels, restaurants, and transportation options commonly used by Mundo Acuático. Although not included, we will gladly help and advice.

Schedule

  • Day 1 – San Pedro, Montes de Oca:

The student has to watch the video of the full course, a review of knowledge with the instructor and take a theoretical exam.

  • Day 2 – Playas del Coco, Guanacaste

Two boat dives in open water.

  • Day 4 – Coco Beachs, Guanacaste:

We will make a dive practices at the pool.

  • Day 5 – Coco Beachs, Guanacaste

We will make bote dives at open water.

Additional Information

The student must go to the Course Open Water Scuba Diver tours.

Diving licenses do not expire. In case of theft or loss, contact https://www.padi.com/ or https://www.naui.org/
