Diving Course: Deep Diver

• Day 1 – Theory session and adventure planning

Before the session, each student should read the Deep Diver manual to get familiar with the basics of deep diving.

During this interactive session, we will review the key theoretical concepts, including:

1. Depth limits and safety procedures for deep dives.
2. Air consumption planning and management.
3. Nitrogen narcosis prevention and response.
4. Buoyancy control and use of specialized equipment.

We will also hold a Q&A and planning session to coordinate the logistics for the ocean dives, transportation, gear preparation, dive sites, and safety protocols.

• Day 2 – Playas del Coco, Guanacaste

You’ll complete four open water dives, each focusing on developing specific deep diving skills:

1. Dive: Review of procedures and buoyancy control at depth.
2. Dive: Planning and performing a deep dive (between 24–30 meters).
3. Dive: Underwater navigation, air management, and time control.
4. Dive: Deep exploration applying all the techniques learned.

Once certified, you will be added to our database and encouraged to continue diving. Mundo Acuático organizes tours to different destinations inside and outside of Costa Rica, like Guanacaste, Puntarenas, Panamá, Honduras, México, Belize and others.
